Prayer is crucial in accomplishing all God has placed before us at Dunwoody Christian School. Parents and grandparents play a key role in covering our students, faculty, and administration in prayer. Our Prayer Team understands the urgency of our mission to help form strong Christian leaders for our future, and they embrace the opportunity to be the prayer covering we need. PARENTS IN ACTION (PIA)
Parents are welcome at DCS, our north Atlanta GA private school. Your involvement is crucial to achieving the mission and vision of Dunwoody Christian School because it is a partnership! Volunteering with the DCS Parents In Action (PIA) is the best way to get involved. The PIA is similar to most schools’ traditional PTO/PTA program. The mission statement of the PIA is “The PIA exists to build community and partner with DCS to support the school’s mission by volunteering our time, talents, and spiritual gifts.” We welcome your unique talents and skills as a parent. PIA committees include:-

FAMILY CHAPEL
Students attend chapel weekly on Thursday mornings by grade. Approximately once per month, all grades come together for chapel as a group. Parents and grandparents are also invited to join us on campus for “Family Chapel”.
CAMPUS VISITS
Our campus is open to parents and visitors. We encourage parents and guardians to schedule a visit with their child’s teacher. We have many opportunities, including Mystery Guests, Lunch Helpers, lunchroom visits, and classroom volunteers.

Dunwoody Christian School has been incredibly blessed by First Baptist Atlanta‘s adoption and welcome to their beautiful 50+ acre campus. Together, our shared mission and vision creates incredible opportunity to design the best spiritual, educational, and athletic experiences for our students.
