Because we are a covenantal school, your child, their teachers, and their peers will all share a common commitment to Christian values and behavior. This allows our north Atlanta private Christian school to create a harmonious and mutually encouraging class atmosphere based on Christ’s love and Christian principles.

Our vision is about growth and excellence! Dunwoody Christian School is an award winning north Atlanta private Christian school, winning Best of Perimeter awards year after year. Soon, we will become among Georgia’s most respected PreK-12 covenant Christian schools. We anticipate adding a ninth grade in the very near future.
We embrace a faith-first approach in all we do. Students will learn how to apply biblical truth to their lives as they memorize Scripture and learn about Christ-like character.
Students participate in Bible class daily and Chapel weekly.
Every teacher is a committed Christ follower who will love, pray for, and nurture your child while providing individual attention and academic challenge.
Our teachers are experienced, certified subject matter experts. All have bachelor’s degrees and many have master’s and doctoral degrees. Our students outperform the Georgia State Standards test averages and our curricula meets or surpasses the Georgia Standards of Excellence and Georgia Performance Standards. Our north Atlanta private Christian school holds the highest accreditation possible from the Georgia Accrediting Commission – “Accredited with Quality”.
We provide weekly instruction for all students in Art, Music, and STEM, with twice weekly instruction in Physical Education and Spanish. In middle school, students in 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to earn a high school language credit.
Sports programs, including cross-country, track and field, swimming, and cheer are allow students to compete at the right pace with other athletes of similar skill levels while learning new skills and athletic knowledge. Our clubs include Art, Theatre, and Volleyball. Extracurricular involvement has been linked to improved student performance, increased leadership abilities, and greater teamwork skills. We plan on adding to our extracurricular sports and clubs.
Dunwoody Christian School currently offers Pre-K through eighth grade education. In the near future we plan on expanding to add ninth grade, and to continue to expand through twelfth grade.
We are a non-profit, non-denominational Covenant Christian school located on the beautiful campus of First Baptist Atlanta Church in Dunwoody, Georgia.
