Ours is a covenant Christian middle school, meaning every member of our community has either professed personal faith in Christ or in the case of our youngest students, are members of a Christ-honoring home. CURRICULUM
At DCS, we’re passionate about igniting creativity and cultivating a love for learning through our engaging specials classes for Middle School students. Each week, they dive into 50-minute sessions in Visual Arts, Music, and STEM, where they can express themselves, explore new interests, and build essential skills. These hands-on, immersive experiences encourage curiosity and make learning both exciting and meaningful!
At DCS, our Middle School students build essential life skills like teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship through twice-weekly 50-minute PE classes. These sessions promote physical activity, personal growth, and a love for fitness. Additionally, students can take part in junior athletics programs such as Cross Country, Swim, and Cheer, where they develop discipline, confidence, and strong friendships in a fun and encouraging environment!
Mrs. Fan is an experienced educator with almost twenty years of teaching and school administrative leadership experience in public and private settings. She began her journey in Christian education at Victory World Christian School, teaching elementary grades for seven years while earning her Master of Arts in Teaching from Emory University. After graduate school, Mrs. Fan transitioned into school administration at Victory World Christian where she held various roles as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Elementary Principal. Mrs. Fan also later taught English language arts at Lilburn Middle School and leadership/career studies at Providence Christian Academy. As a wife, mother, and principal, Mrs. Fan finds great joy in her Christian faith as she serves in the various roles that God has called her to at home, church, and school. Believing in the transformative power of education rooted in Christian values, she is blessed to guide students in helping them discover their unique calling from God.
