CAMP COOKING AND CUISINES FROM AROUND THE WORLD Cooking (Rising K - Rising 3rd)

Pack your taste buds and travel the globe! Campers will explore international flavors, create delicious dishes, and discover cultures from around the world—one recipe at a time.

BotBuilders lets kids explore God’s design in STEM as they build robots, experiment with technology, and discover the joy of learning through hands-on creation.

Session 2: June 15-18, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

CREATED TO CREATE Crafts (Rising K - Rising 3rd)

Little hands, big masterpieces! Kids will explore their creativity through fun, hands-on crafts while discovering how God made them wonderfully creative.

From basketball to soccer and everything in between, All Sports Camp lets kids try new games, improve skills, and have a blast all summer long!

Session 3: June 22-25, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

STEM DISCOVERY STEM (Rising K - Rising 3rd)

Future inventors start here! STEM Discovery Camp lets kids tinker, build, and experiment while learning the basics of science, engineering, and technology in a playful, hands-on way.

Run the race with heart! Kids will sharpen their flag football skills while learning teamwork, perseverance, and giving their best in every game.

What camps are being offered?

We are offering the following camps:

June 8–11

  • Camp Cooking and Cuisines from Around the World | Cooking | K–3rd Grade
  • BotBuilders | Robotics | 4th–8th Grade

June 15–18

  • Created to Create | Crafts | K–3rd Grade
  • GAME ON! | All Sports | K–8th Grade

June 22–25

  • STEM Discovery Camp | STEM | K–3rd Grade
  • Gridiron | Flag Football | 4th–8th Grade
What are the camp hours?

All camps run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Are these one-week camps?

Yes. Each camp runs for one week only, Monday through Thursday.

Who can attend?

Students may register based on the rising grade ranges listed for each camp for the 2026-2027 school year (ie. rising Kindergartener for the 2026-2027 school year).

Can my child attend more than one camp?

Yes, if the camp matches their eligible grade level, there is space available, and the camp is in a different session or week.

Can my child attend two camps in the same week?

No, all camps run 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, students may attend only one camp per week.

Where will camps take place?

All camps will take place:

  • Dunwoody Christian School, on the FBA campus
  • 4400 North Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30338
  • All drop-offs and pick-ups will be handled through morning and afternoon carpool at the East entrance (late check-in and early check-out will be handled at the front desk of the East entrance)
What is the cost?
  • All camps will cost a weekly rate of $250 per camper.
  • Current DCS students and non-DCS students will pay the same rate.
  • All supplies are included in the weekly rate.
How do I register?

You’ll want parents to know:

  • All registrations will be placed using the google form link above.
  • Registration deadline – June 1, 2026
  • Spots are first come, first served. No spot can be held without registration form being completed and invoice being paid.
Is space limited?

Yes, space limitation varies based on camp activity.

What happens if a camp fills up?

We will be offering a waitlist for camps that exceed maximum capacity.

What is the cancellation policy?
  • Any fees paid to DCS will be 100% refunded if cancellation occurs and request is processed via email to info@dunwoodycs.org by May 18, 2026. No refunds will be offered after this date, including to sign-ups that take place after May 18, 2026.
  • Refunds will not be available under any circumstance after May 18, 2026.
What should campers bring each day?
  • Packed lunch, must not require refrigeration or to be heated up.
  • Water bottle, clearly labeled.
  • Snack(s), must not require refrigeration or to be heated up.
  • Closed-toe shoes, athletic shoes are required for athletic camps.
  • Weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Extra change of clothes for younger campers, if needed.
  • Shorts required under dresses/skirts for sports camps?
Are non-DCS students allowed to attend?

Yes, we encourage all of the community to participate in DCS Summer Day Camps.

What grades are included in K–3rd and 4th–8th?
  • Rising Kindergarten through rising 3rd grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Rising 4th through rising 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
Will campers be grouped by age?

Yes, campers will be broken into smaller groups by age range. In athletic camps, younger aged campers will never be competing against older aged campers.

Does my child need prior experience?

No prior experience is necessary.

What if my child has food allergies?
  • For Camp Cooking and Cuisines from Around the World recipes will not include: peanuts or tree nuts.
  • The DCS Summer Day Camp program cannot accommodate severe allergies.
What if my child has medical needs or takes medication?

We ask that parents and guardians complete this required health form.

Will there be a nurse on site?

No, we have trained staff to handle first aid and emergencies.

How does drop-off and pick-up work?
  • Drop-offs and pick-ups will only take place at the FBA East entrance in carpool.
  • Drop-off time window: 8:45 – 9:00 AM.
  • Pick-up time window: 3:00 – 3:15 PM.
  • Individuals recognized on the registration form will be the only ones authorized for pick-up.
  • If you need to authorize a different individual for pick-up, prior written notification is required by email to info@dunwoodycs.org no later than 2:00 PM that day.
Is before-care or after-care available?

No, we are unable to offer before or after care.

What happens if I’m late for pick-up?

A late fee will be accessed if any camper is not picked up by 3:15 PM.

Are electronic devices allowed?

All personal electronic devices must stay stored in a camper’s belongings. Camper’s will not have access to these belongings from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. DCS is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or damaged.

Can students take photos or be photographed?

An image release is included in the registration form. Campers will not have access to devices for capturing their own images during camp hours.

When will families receive final camp details?

Camp counselors will email all registered camper’s parents or guardians the week of May 24th to communicate details and answer any questions.
